Beautiful and engaging - Rated
This is my sixth deck and it instantly became my favourite. The images are beautiful, rich and engaging and I love working with them. I'd recommend this deck to anyone.

The only down side, as others have said, is that they're so large I find it hard to shuffle them and you need a very large surface to layout a reading. Otherwise fantastic!

perfect for first time tarot user - Rated
This is my very first proper tarot set. When I bought it I wasn't quite sure if i was gonna like it, although I loved the illustration. I love numerology and sacred geometry. This deck is a combination of all, plus it is very colourful and has lots of messages in the drawings. I tend to pick up the meanings from the drawing and then I go and read the book for extra guidance. I am amazed as to how accurate the deck is, only just looking and drawing messages from the illustrations only, there is no need to really read the book, one can just pick up the messages.
All in all, I am very happy with my purchase, I usually buy angels decks, this time i went for a taort pack, i must say, i am not dissapointed with the item.
Recommended even to newbies at tarot.

Fantastic imagery but... - Rated
I love the imagery on these cards & the book is really useful. I find the interpretations of the cards described in the book much more closely match my intuitive reading than a lot of other tarot books do. I'm much more drawn to them than the rider waite because they are based on British traditions; however they will never become my main pack because their large size makes them virtually impossible to shuffle with tiny hands & arthritis, so I just use them for personal meditations rather than doing readings which is a shame. If they were reissued in a smaller size I'd buy them in a shot. For this reason I give them 4 instead of 5 stars.

One of the best tarot deck out there - Rated
The characters are so naturally expressive that it is simple to use this deck. The representation of nature in these cards is also absolutely wonderful. I would unreservedly recommend this deck. The book that accompanied the deck was also comprehensive and clear to understand. An almost perfect package (I never give 5 stars as I grade conservatively but this deck would come close!)

I absolutely love this deck! It's the one I use for personal meditation, and it never fails to disappoint. Other reviewers have written about the differences to a normal deck, so I'll just tell you about my impressions.

The cards are very big, which makes them quite difficult to shuffle, but the pictures are detailed enough to justify the size of the deck.

This is probably the most intricate deck I've ever come across - there are little bits in every picture which aren't immediately obvious to the eye. For example, "The Lady" (who replaces "The Emperess" in more traditional decks) is holding a sheaf of wheat, which is obvious, but she has a plait that looks almost like a sheaf of wheat dangling over her shoulder, which isn't.

Personally I'm not too keen on the use of numerology in the book - I think it's a load of bunk myself, but other than that the book is very interesting; the descriptions of the court cards are particularly useful. I really liked their version of the celtic cross, and I use that spread myself now every time I do a reading.

I'd recommend this deck for any Wiccans or Druids who want a religiously-themed deck, and don't want "The Devil" and "Judgement" (both re-named in this deck) to crash their party!
