If it is Disneyland info you want then this book may be for you, but if you don't plan to go to Disneyland then I would not reccomend this book. I recently bought this book for a week end in Paris with my husband and two children ( aged 5 and 7). As we had limited time we were keen to use a guide book for suggestions and directions for appropriate things to see and do with children. I found the suggestions to be unspecific and directions poor. It doesn't offer anymore than any other guide book and common sense as a parent. It was a waste of money and the time we spent following the suggestions and directions given in the book we would have been much better off just getting lost !
Invaluable companion - Rated
This book was invaluable for my recent trip to Paris with my 12-year old son. I also took a more 'conventional' guide book (i.e. aimed at adults) and found I did not open it once. I have two younger children (9 and 4) and felt this book would have been equally relevant for them. It gives you a good overall 'feel' for Paris, which would be just as helpful for adults travelling without children. A lot of specific detail is provided (e.g. exactly where things are and what you will find there) which, potentially, is very useful. However, I found that, while most of this detail was accurate, sometimes it was only fairly accurate and once or twice it was completely wrong! Despite this, I would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone visiting Paris.
