A book that tells you that "rabbits and guinea pigs can live together" and that rabbits "don't need toys" does not figure very high as both of these are out & out lies.
It has it's good points; but to a new rabbit owner who only has this book they wont know better. Best to buy in conjunction with another rabbit book; or do on-line research also.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

this series of books are ab fab. I cant put them down. They cover much more than the usual rabbit books, although they are great. This series really go into the ins and outs. it has been invaluable for my small pet hotel for rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters bedsforbucks.com. You have to just keep picking up these books there is so much to learn

A very well priced book which contains excellent advice and interesing information on rabbits and rabbit care. Despite having several other books on rabbits, including the specialist Harcourt-Brown vets book, I find myself turning to Rabbitlopedia whenever i want to assure myself that I know what my (10!) rabbits (or my vet) is up to. Obviously there will always be a few glitches in any work - and our understading of rabbit lifespan, and some elements of rabbit diet have changed even since this book was first printed, but it remains the most accessible, most readable, and informative book that i have come across. It also doesnt go for the 'cutesy' bunny cover that so many other books suffer from!!

I have borrowed this book from my local library time and time again. Now they wont let me renew it anymore, so guess what? I am going to have to purchase it for myself.
We are first time rabbit owners and I have found this book to be extremely helpful and invaluable.
I highly recommend it.

gives you everything you need to know about your rabbit with information you never thought about. it helped me loads and i strongly recommend this book to everyone i have several rabbit books and nothing came close to this. with everything about feeding medical problems tips on care full history about rabbits everything about rabbits is in this book a must have! 100% recommended. thankyou.
