Centurion tank a lost oppertunity - Rated This is a wasted oppertunity to produce a new book on the Centurion. The book is riddled with errors some of them real howlers such as stating that the gunner is located behind the gun!! There is at least one mistake per page. Most of the pictures are old ones that have been seen before although there are a few new ones. The book suffers from a lack of proof reading from someone who knew the vehicle and poor research, (I pointed this out to the publishers before the book was issued) my recommendation for anyone looking for a good Cent book is to buy Simon Dunstans. a good basic buy - Rated There are a number of books available on the Centurion. This book will answer most of your questions and includes good drawings. The only weakness is the bibliography. A list of manuals would be a great help. In the engine section the omission of the 50 hp tax is surprising.
