Customer Reviews

teaching riding - Rated 4/5
This book is very helpful for, the mother who is trying to help teach her children the basics of riding to the instructor who is wanting to find ways of playing games with children while being taught how to keep their balance. great book

Inaccurate listing - Rated 3/5
The actual book content is excellent. It is aimed at really young and junior school children who are in the first stages of learning to ride. There are lots of good ideas for games and positive exercises which will be fun but provide the instruction and practice necessary for improvement in riding technique. Clear illustrations show what to look out for. However I consider that it is an inaccuracy to put Lucinda Green's name first in your listing of the book in the catalogue which implies that she is at least a co-author. I accept that the word (foreword)is used later on to indicate that that is her only contribution to the book. Jane Wallace is herself a rider of international renown and well-known equestrian author and the book does not need inaccurate description to promote it.
