one of the ONLY good poker book for tournament play - Rated this book will really get you the basics of tournament play I reread some part from time to time although I should read it more will definitely give you very solid foundations for tournament play what a series of books ! - Rated All 5 of this series (3 on Full tournament play + the 2 on cash game play) Are absolutely brilliant and a must read. nothing more to be said really ;0) Harringtons - Rated Harrington's Book on Poker This was for my son for Christmas, he tells me it has improved his strategy no end and is delighted with it. You play poker tournies,you will need this. - Rated Harington is the bible on the basics with no comparison.If you read this you will know everything you need to beat tournies up to the $10-15 level. Not all that - Rated I have read an number of poker books and I didnt particularly enjoy this one. I found it to be overtly americanised and not exactly a joy to read. I am not saying his strategies are incorrect but I prefer to read something slightly less subtle. I dont want a book which I have to re read. I just want hard hitting winning stratergies.
