a valuable resource for early learning settings. - Rated as a student of the NVQ3 in early years care and education, I have found this book very useful. It gives ideas of activities,songs and rhymes connected with the seasons, and some related to other topics. It covers many of the early learning goals, with easy to prepare activities, and has been a source of inspiration for the christmas play at our playgroup. the only drawback I have found is the very American bias it has, making some of the holidays and festivals covered not applicable within the community where I work. however, it does cover a range of multicultural holidays and festivals, which have been useful.
