Robin Gwynn's little book is ideal for anyone who is descended from a Huguenot or simply wants to know more about these remarkable people. The book briefly outlines the history of the Huguenots explaining why they left France, and then examines their influence on Brtish society of the 17th and 18th centuries. Central to the book is a Huguenot guide to London which details the places in the city where the Huguenots clustered together, namely Soho, Spitalfields and Wandsworth. This book is a great place to start for anyone interested in learning more about the Huguenots and their legacy.
