not one for the square heads - Rated This is an amazing book, written by use of eastern metaphores and similies, non other than Ibn Arabi could have wrote this. Ibn Arabi quotes the Quran in almost all aspects and relates them to the beloved prophet Muhammad(saw). I have to admit, this piece of work is very poetic, very deep and profound. I especially love the part about the light (noor) of the prophet(saw) and his meeting with God. it did make me think of things as to why we have 4 fingers and a thumb? why 5. why not 3 or 6? Ibn Arabi's view is that it is to remind us of the 5 daily prayers, the 5 pillars of islam... only a saint would see this type of reasoning in ourselves. SubhanAllah. what a magnificent way of thinking.

I have to admit, this piece of work is very poetic, very deep and profound.
