grammer is awful - Rated
put me off reading this book by the piss poor grammer errors and awful way it was worded. dont you taffys have spell checkers?
everyone seems to be the hardest man they ever met, this gets so repetative its annoying. stick to sheep worrying and leave the book writings to west ham.

I have to say a very good book cover to cover insight to Britains Most Notorious Hooligan Gang. Everybody has there own views on who is top of the tree I have read most books on what I have read here you have got to say they must be in the top three. Well worth a read.

As a Cardiff fan of many years, I bought this to see what "the boys" had to say.
It is as other reviewers have already said an excellent read, it flows really well and is written with humour and a degree of humilty. It certainly stands head and shoulders above other books of this type.
I started going to Cardiff right at the beginning of the '80's, in fact at my first game, against West Ham got hit by a bottle thrown by my own fans! I have to admit that I was one of the coach "normal" fans, but I have seen the Soul Crew in action many times, and only ever seen Cardiff overrun once (by Chelsea, as mentioned in the book).
It has its faults, (I don't really care what they were wearing during a fight, but apart from that I highly recommend this entertaining read, for myself it was like a trip down memory lane!

i thought this was a very good read but the main face contradicts himself a few times about being outnumbered.seems ok to lay into a hand ful of opposing fans but not to have it done back to them. also the numbers he talks about are sometime stretched to the obscene. nevertheless this is well worth buying and i would recommend it.

Pure brillant, give such a great insite to the soul crew both old and new. The author(s) hit the nail on wot it was like being in the front line of the firm. The storys in the book are bone crunching yet comical. Ive read lots books on the subject this is the best by far. rock on keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!
