Cannot understand some of the negative reviews. The book does "what it says on the tin." Real life examples are just that...real life examples, the experiences that people have.

I would not buy this book,bias, well YES I have read it.And NO I didn't buy it.The title is misleading and content poor.Examples from students very glib and nonsensical.
Like one of the previous posters.There is nothing in IT that has not been said before.
The book is a very lame intro for anyone intersted in NLP etc.I suppose this is not a accident as the writers knowledge is WELL to say the least minimal.It seems they have just rehashed other peoples work for there own gain.
Avoid there are far far better just type in NLP.
Disappointing - Rated
As an NLP Master Practitioner, I was looking forward to seeing some examples of the practical application of NLP, especially given the previous reviews on this site.
How disappointed was I?!
The book is mostly a collection of vague anecdotes, mostly taken from emails (therefore not even grammatically sound) and largely self congratulatory; 'Oh aren't we good!' kind of stuff.
The final part of the book gives a little advice on NLP techniques, but overall, you would find far better information in just about any other NLP book you could pick up.
Save your valuable time and money for something else. This one is really not worth the effort!
Brilliant and Easy to Read - Rated
This is a really enjoyable book to read .The real life stories are very inspiring.
I also appreciate the way that Kirsty has explained all the NLP techniques with examples of how to use them and has made it appear very easy.
Clients often ask me to recommend a book about NLP.I will be recommending this as it explains it all very succinctly .

A Gift it really is...... - Rated
What an amzaing read! I have read a few books in NLP and have always been intrigued by it but felt somewhat daunted by it. The gift really puts everything into perspective, the real life stories show you just how you can apply NLP into different areas of your life and then part 2 allows you to practise the techniques.
The book is bright, refreshing and truly inspiring. A must read for both novices and experts in NLP.
