an excellent book - Rated 
Its a very thought provoking book. Sure, her ideas may not be correct, but what if they are, no one will ever really know for sure. Her ideas are at least backed by science and she lists numerous references after each chapter. These include science papers, articles from New Scientist and books from other authors. I have since ordered a lot of the books that she referenced and am excitedly awaiting their arrival.I am not trying to find an answer to life, or the universe but i am very interested in other peoples ideas. Its a great read. I was hopelessly addicted to it. Id have to say that to date it has been my favourite book
Missing the point - Rated 
This book misses the whole point of Science. The author claims throws in claim after claim without any basis in truth and asks the reader to believe her in the same way a religious doctrine does. This book does nothing to further the understanding of the world and Universe we are part of. The book is insulting to the many scientists who work to find out the truth. The author seems to want to invent her own "truth" out of thin air. I hope this book does not get a following...

As the title suggests `Punk Science' is attention grabbing and defiant in its approach. It's a 'must read' for those who know we must explore reality in a new light, as it uses 'Science' - the ultimate voice of authority in our modern world - in order to 'prove' the point... love it or hate it, I doubt you can ignore it!
Although the fuel for this book was conveyed during, in the authors words, a 'Visionary Experience" she has ignited it with insight and research that links esoteric knowledge and modern physics. She has uncovered spirit within science by transcending the limited 'machine' model to propose the creative principle of pure consciousness is at the core of all things, even perhaps at the centre of a black hole!

Punk Science provides the pod for you to receive the seeds of the new frontier in science.
It is a sumptuous variety, that provides a healthy protein filled feast for those that do not understand or appreciate cutting edge quantum science. I have no doubt at all that this book will inspire many new avenues of research applicable to 21st century consciousness. The author has given humanity a can full of scientific research, crafted with skill and Einstein genius, it is covered with a lovely sauce that anyone can enjoy. The Punk Science seed will grow into a tree with many new branches of science.
The title Punk Science does the author and the quality of her work no justice, there is no doubt that this author is a rebel but her work has more class then anything ever seen in the punk movement. She certainly is a cut above and in a class of her own. Some come to new science kicking and screaming and thanks to Manjir Samanta-Laughton it is now accessible to all. It certainly is an eye-opener for people from all walks of life. I am sure that many people will enjoy this read, I have no hesitation in recommending it to everyone.
