I love Kakuros and have now done a lot of them. This book starts well for the beginner but by the time you've got to the harder puzzles you notice the lack of style in the puzzles themselves - you will again and again come across the same patterns, and all too often the bottom half of a puzzle is little more than the top half replicated. I'll do any number puzzle, but this book started really annoying me. Best avoided if you like to be challenged.
A great collection of puzzles at 4 different levels - Rated
4 clearly defined levels means that you can gradually get the hang of the puzzle and even when you can do the most difficult ones you can choose which level you want depending on the amount of time you have and also the mood you're in.......how hard do you want to work?
This is not my first kakuro book and so I was particularly interested in the introduction and instructions which were quite helpful. I was, however, surprised to see that there are no tables of multiple possibilities, without which I can't solve the more advanced puzzles.........or am I missing the point? Am away to buy book 2 now.
Such pleasure. - Rated
I have been doing Sudoku for the last three months and was just starting to get a bit bored with it when I came across Kakuro. If you have not tried it I would suggest this book as the introduction is spot on and the 4 levels are pitched very well indeed. You also get the benefit of 201 puzzles which is double what some of the other books have. A real bargain.
Best Kakuro book on the market! - Rated
If you're looking for quality kakuro puzzles, look no further. I'm impressed with how well this book is thought out. The puzzles are pitched at the right levels and there are enough to keep you going for ages. Great value. Highly recommended.

This is such good fun and at £4-99 for over 200 puzzles, good value as well. Prepare to be hooked. You have been warned
