This is a book that builds on the framework of a philosophy that reflects the writings of CS Lewis and others -as might be expected by the title. At first I thought- plagiarism, then discovered in reading it that Mike Meegan is not just a new age philosopher but a man who has grown up through the years and can reflect in his writing that growth in maturity. He describes a world where all is not well but where his journey has been a practical part of the path to making this world a little better.He writes from true experiences and his outlook is that of a man who has seen some of the very worst the world can offer yet who still can find brightness in the people and circumstances he encounters. In the book there is much to learn about how to combine a zest for all that a modern and transitional world has to offer while not compromising on principle.
