A great gift for anybody, especially at Christmas and I think does more for religion than the original ever did! Its cheerful and fun and a great present for anyone, be they religious or not. Although no doubt aimed for children, it has brought joy even to a man of my age - top marks and a great buy!

Wonderful humour! - Rated
I brought this book for my lego-loving fiance and he adored it! It is a wonderful collection of humourous lego set-ups that are wonderfully done to illustrate parts of genesis.

It is great humour and fantastically done and we have returned to this book time and again.

This is the most ingenious idea for a book that I've come across this year. Brendan Powell Smith takes 10 stories from the Old Testament book of Genesis, and selects verses from them to illustrate using Lego bricks. Thankfully, the text is faithful to the Bible, with no attempt to alter or ridicule. Favourite childhood Bible stories such as the Creation, Noah's Ark and Joseph are brilliantly illustrated with pictures of Lego characters and landscapes. This is well worth buying - a real 'two for the price of one' - a chance to relive those colourful Old Testament stories and reminisce over the hours of childhood spent playing with those fabulous Lego bricks. Almost tempting enough to go looking in the attic for the big box of Lego...!
