Although there are many books in the market on the Maldives, I am more then thankful that I choose this particular book. It contains everything from currency to culture, shopping to statistics. For a small book (pocket-size) I really think it does contain allsorts of useful information, the history of the Maldives is quite unique when you consider the inhabitants. The review of different resorts seems to be honest and frank, much thought has gone into this book and its layout.
I am pleased to have bought this book, an excellent start for what I am sure will be an excellent holiday.

This paperback is enough for a traveller to learn all the necessary information for Maldives which contains political, legal, historical and many others. When you are looking for anything special for the place, you can easily find in this book to cover your thoughts. Easy reading and also enjoyable. If you think of going to Maldives and are not fixed yet, this book will your guide in taking the positive decision.
