Real information not just eye candy - Rated There are loads of fashion design books out there but most seem to be a collection of pictures and drawings with a bit of caption text - basically eye candy for browsing. By contrast this is a really well structured book with a good commentary on key aspects of fashion design, including research, fabrics and techniques, construction etc with high quality illustrations and photos too. Covers commercial and practical aspects of building a collection. Great for students and also those who want to learn something useful and not just look at nice pictures.
