Surprisingly Good - Rated
When I was sent a review copy of this book I must confess that I was sceptical and certainly did not think that my wee labrador would be much impressed by the idea. However, having read the book, it did all seem to make good sense and it is certainly written in a very clear and well illustrated form.

To my surprise, when I did start to massage my dog, he just lay down, grinned and let me know he was thoroughly enjoying it.

I really love this book and my dog certainly agrees!

I have previously been told about the benefits of both dog massage and stretching but before I bought this book I hadn't come across any books or manuals clear/comprehensive enough to make me feel comfortable with putting theory into practice. Then, a few weeks ago, a vet recommended this new book to me. I was soon able to practise massage and stretching on my dog and have experienced a very positive respons from him! He really enjoys it! Now it's my turn to recommend this book to other dog owners! There are several reasons:

I had never really massaged or stretched my dog before but the instructions, both visual and in text, were clear and easy to follow. On top of that, this book is a pure joy to read for anyone interested in the welfare of their dogs. It is possible to jump straight to the "practical" chapters about massage and stretching. However, the contents (well written and, again, easy to comprehend) as well as the great layout with lots of wonderful pictures ensures that you really don't want to skip a single page.

As stated in the book, our dogs really give us so much and it feels great to be able to give something back! Thanks to this book I can provide that extra care!

In short, this is a very good investment for any dog owner and, with its nice layout, also a great gift!
