Well worth a read. - Rated
I bought this book on the strength of the other reviews and I wasn't disappointed. There are plenty of useful statements and paragraphs you can dip in and out of (or just finish it in one sitting). I imagine I will come back to it in the near future. Instantly made me a bit brighter. Don't expect it to change your life though. It does not go in depth in to any issues. I don't think this is what the author intended though. Enjoy. Be happy :)
Mixed opinions. Worth a read, but lacking in various areas... - Rated
After reading several self help books over the last few months, I have to say that this is the most disappointing of the lot. It simply can't compare to books like "Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway" By Susan Jeffers, or "The Promised Land" by Rick Norris - two books of which were written by trained psychologists that know what they're talking about, who don't feel the need to go around the houses with the occasional long winded and sometimes useless analogies and advice. However, not all Andrew Matthew's words were without merit and he made some good points, which mirrored advice given in other books I'd previously or since read.
Unfortunately, the author was one who I simply didn't trust and in a book of this genre, trusting the author with potential life changing decisions is key. Perhaps the cartoon illustrations, although a unique touch, took away from the serious issue of life advice. Multiple printed spelling errors throughout also helped degrade the book's validity.
As mentioned in a previous review of this title, the book would be better suited to a younger, perhaps teenage audience who have not yet tried other, more successful books available.
It was still worth a read, but if you're only looking to invest in 3 or 4 self help books in the near future, be aware of the fact there's more informative material out there.
I give it 2.5 out of 5.
The best book to read to be happy! - Rated
Andrew has written (and drawn) a superb and snappy book. He covers everything you need to enjoy and succeed in life and explains everything really well. Easy to understand and a very enjoyable read. No big words or confusing language. Important knowledge contained within this book that could be read by anyone from 10-110 years old. Nice Summaries and nice pictures. And makes a nice present. Luckily the only thing he doesnt cover is the best mind techniques for business and sport otherwise no one would read my book!

Being Happy (It`s easier than you think) - Rated
This wonderfully funny book written and illustrated by Andrew Matthews is all you really need to get started in understanding the basics on how the mind works. Matthews humourous self-help guide is simple in it`s delivery and you can pick it up any time for a quick fix if you feel yourself flagging! I have found this book immensely helpful in my life and would throughly recommend it to anyone you feels their life is lacking in direction. No wonder it is an international best seller! from Meryl Heasman (songwriter) Kent.
A book that really makes a difference - Rated
Life has its ups and downs. Sometimes, the downs and the difficulties that we face seem insurmountable. Yet the one thing I have discovered over the years is that when people face crises and difficulties, there are things that they crave: clarity, commonsense, and a sense of proportion or perspective. When we get these, our problems seem much easier to deal with, and we can move forward. This book really does provide that sense of proportion and I found it very comforting. I went through a very unhappy period of my life a few years back and this book actually made all the difference. I really do recommend this book - it made a huge difference and gave me the confidence to turn things aroound.
