Italian Language Pack for Kids - Rated I did not like this pack at first. I thought that to help my children learn Italian using this pack I would have to be able to speak the language. I was wrong. The children loved it. They listen to the tape all the time and play 'schools' with the flash cards. Although we only had the pack for a few days before our trip to Italy we were told by our 5 year old that il gatto didn't have a coda! Excellent starter pack for young people - Rated In this country we miss a trick by not starting the teaching of foreign languages in state schools until the kids get to the secondary sector. If language teaching was started in junior school then the next generation of children would have a much better chance of living comfortably in the new global economy. This starter pack not only helps to make up for the lack of state language education before the age of 11, but also assists children in getting ready for the start of their proper language education. We bought this pack because of an impending holiday to Italy, and the variety of materials, along with the very good book on tips and advice for parents, is a great starter for learning the language. I would recommend any Berlitz Kids product for children going on holiday abroad. Its a great start that can only be of benefit to kids when they become adults.
