Pleasing to look at, but confusing and inaccurate - Rated
Having followed this guide book around for four days, I cannot help but feel it was written by someone who had the map and the photographs, but had never been to the city. The directions were confusing - frequently leaving out vital turnings and street names - and often took you needlessly out of your way to look at an undistinguished house frontage. Some of the information was just plain wrong - sometimes as with opening hours being simply out of date, but strikingly in one instance insisting that a photograph of an old lady making lace outside a shop was of a mannequin. She still sits outside the shop making lace, but she is a LIVE HUMAN BEING. How do you trust a guide that can't recognise a PERSON when they see one? This guide is usable, but I wouldn't recommend making it the only one you took.
