Comparison Cart Info

The BookkooB UK Comparison Cart is feature that lets you find the best place to buy multiple books. As far as we are aware BookkooB is the only site that offers you this advanced functionality. Not only that but it is free to all our visitors.

What does it do?

If you wish to purchase more than one book, you can add each of them to the Comparison Cart by clicking on the links found throughout the site. When you view the cart you can easily find the total cost of your books by selecting which store to buy each book from. Once you are happy with your selection you can click on the 'show me how to buy these books' button to get links and instructions that will make it easy for you to complete your purchase(s).

Isn't that the same as purchasing each book from the cheapest store?

Not always. Due to the various rules each store uses to calculate delivery costs, it can sometimes be beneficial to not always go with the cheapest book price. For example buying two books for £15 each from store A and getting free delivery (total=£30) would be better than buying one book for £14 from store B and paying £2 delivery and buying the other book for £13 from store C and paying £1.50 delivery (total=£30.50). Other comparison sites either work on just the cheapest book price or just find the cheapest store to purchase the whole order from, whereas BookkooB will inform you if you would be better off by splitting your order between multiple stores. Anyway, that's enough maths; the 'Comparison Cart' will do all the calculations for you!

Anything else?

The cart also has a feature that will find you the best deal for your books. By clicking on calculate the best deal every combination of stores will be checked and the overall cheapest combination selected for you. You can then still modify the selection if, for example, you are willing to pay slightly more to a store who can deliver more quickly.
